RINGO AND HIS GOLDEN PISTOL
Aka. JOHNY ORO. Mark Damon plays a laconic frontiersman who fires his gun only as a last resort. In the climactic contretemps with the villains, Damon defends himself with a few strategically tossed sticks of TNT. Ringo and His Golden Pistol was originally titled Johnny Oro. Its title was changed and the voices redubbed in order to make the film compatible with director Duccio Tessari's popular "Ringo" westerns. Also stars Valeria Fabrizi, Frango De Rosa, Andrea, Aureli, and John Bartha. Directed by Sergio Corbucci the same year he did the landmark film DJANGO. (1966-Italy)
