THE
KILLER MUST STRIKE AGAIN
Aka: L’ASSASSINO E’ COSTRETTO AD UCCIDERE ANCORA
George
Hilton is cast yet again as a sleazy gigolo, whose wife Nora,
is very wealthy thanks to her father’s business holdings. Nora
is getting sick of supporting her louse of a husband who has
at least one girlfriend on the side and who’s business is failing.
Nora informs him that she has cut him off and will not give
him another dime. Outraged this pathetic looser develops a devious
plan one night while he watches a man dump the body of a woman
in the bay. He approaches this killer and blackmails him into
murdering his wife. The assassin follows the plan the two men
devised and brutally strangles Nora while her husband
is whooping it up at a party with friends. The killer dumps
Nora’s corpse into the trunk of his car and returns to the house
to remove any fingerprints. Upon returning to his car he discovers
it’s gone, along with the body of Nora! It appears that two
youths have stolen the car for a joyride unknowingly setting
off a chain of events that will make them the next target for
the now, very pissed-off assassin, and causing the police to
become very suspicious of Nora’s husband.
A great thriller chock full of nasty violence and graphic
sex from writer/director Luigi Cozzi who is best know for his
collaborations with Dario Argento. Cozzi displays a very dark
sense of humor with an ironic film structure. Juxtaposing scenes
of Nora being brutally beaten as her husband parties; inter-cutting
scenes of a young couple making love with that of the killer
brutally raping a young virgin. Working under an obviously low
budget Cozzi manages to make the most of it with some interesting
camera work. Also starring Michel Antoine, whose unusual looks
make him the perfect psychopathic killer, Femi Benussi, Cristina
Galbo, Eduardo Fajardo, Teresa Velazquez.
