PENSIERI
(Bad Thoughts)
Aka: Who Mislaid my Wife?
Mario Maranis life would seem to be perfect; he makes a
very good living as a lawyer, he has a beautiful home in Milan,
and his wife is a stunningly sexy goddess. But this attractive
wife is the source of his daily anguish. Mario is intensely jealous
and tormented by delirious visions of other men seducing his spouse.
One evening he plans to fly on a business trip from Milan to Rome,
but after hours of waiting at the airport for the fog to clear
he decides to go home and take a flight latter in the week. Upon
returning home he finds he gorgeous wife asleep in bed and a pair
or mans feet hiding in his secure gun closet. Outraged,
Mario formulates a plan for
revenge. Locking the vault-like storeroom he wakes his wife and
takes her away on an impromptu holiday knowing all well that her
lover will be trapped. As the vacation stretches on Mario imagines
the slow death of her imprisoned lover.
One
of the films in the large series of sexy comedies produced in
Italy during the 70s to deal with the topic of infidelity. Popular
Italian actor Ugo Tognazzi (best know for his work with director
Marco Ferrier) stars as Mario, husband to the always stunning
Edwige Fenech. Marios visions of his wifes infidelity
are quite surreal and very funny. Also starring Paolo Bonacelli,
Piero Mazzarella, Yanti Somer and Luc Merenda and the handsome
gigolo Jean-Luc. Written and directed by Ugo Tognazzi. (1976 -
Italy).
