This spaghetti western finds Jonathan Corbett (Lee Van Cleef) as the Texas lawman with a fast draw and deadly aim. He traces Cuchillo (Tomas Milian), accused of the rape and murder of a teenage girl, between the Mexican-U.S. border. Corbett chases the suspect and engages in several rounds of gun blazing while entertaining offers from the shadowy railroad magnate Brokston (Walter Barnes), who intends to hire Corbett to put in an international railroad in the area.
